It is advisable to leave a telephone contact and email address for any information regarding changes to your journey.

Inform the airline in advance if you need assistance and/or special meals, reduced mobility, unaccompanied children, etc.

Reconfirm your reservation and flight times before starting your trip.

B - Important advice

For security reasons, it is prohibited to carry certain objects in your hand baggage (for example scissors, pocket knives, nail clippers, files, toys that imitate weapons, etc.).

New security measures have been approved imposing restrictions on carrying liquids in hand baggage. Find out more on the ANAC website.

Avoid placing valuable items in checked baggage, such as jewelry, computer equipment, cameras or photographic equipment, mobile phones, etc.

C - Essential precautions

Present yourself for boarding with the necessary documentation and according to the time stipulated by the air carrier.

Allow sufficient time for all airport procedures, including security screening and, if appropriate, passport control.

Follow the instructions given by the air carrier regarding boarding time and gate number.

D - Tips to avoid problems with your luggage

Place a Baggage Tag on the outside and inside each piece of baggage you will check at the check-in counter with the name and address of its owner.

Remove any tags from previous trips.

Make sure you receive a check-in label for each of your baggage and verify that the destination marked on it is the desired one.

Comply with the all rules related to the transport of baggage in the aircraft cabin (size and weight).

If, upon arrival at your final destination, your baggage does not appear, report this to the airline and fill out a complaint. If you detect any irregularity in your baggage, report it to the air carrier before leaving the arrivals hall.
