ECAC-CEAC Workshop on Best Pratice in PRM Monitoring Activities for National Authorities

The objectives of the workshop are to:

• Consider implementation issues in the monitoring of assistance given to PRMs.
• Examine procedures governing the quality of assistance received, from the PRM perspective, and how these could be improved.
• Review and identify best practice for internal quality control (e.g. at airport operator and airline levels).

Format

The workshop will combine presentations, case studies, practical exercises and discussion. The workshop will encourage and facilitate the exchange of experience between participants. 

Who should attend?

The workshop is open to ECAC Member State representatives, members and observers of the ECAC Facilitation Working Group and of the ECAC Facilitation Sub-Group on the Transport of Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRMs). In particular, the workshop will be of interest to:

• Representatives of national authorities responsible for defining PRM assistance requirements and conducting oversight activities.
• Representatives of airport operators, handling agents and air carriers.
• Representatives of disability organisations.

Language

The workshop will be conducted in English and attendees should have an excellent working knowledge of the language.
